Destination verification

Check GTBuy Links Before Using a Spreadsheet

A working link proves only that a server responded. Confirm that the final destination still represents the recorded product and exact selectable option, then classify the result with a dated status.

Use five link statuses

StatusUse it whenNext action
MATCHEDSeveral identity clues and the exact option agree with the saved record.Continue with sizing, QC, payment and parcel checks.
CHANGEDThe product is related, but a material detail, option, price context or evidence differs.Update the record and re-evaluate the decision.
UNRELATEDThe final page represents a different product or reused listing.Reject the row as a current match.
UNAVAILABLEThe page is gone, blocked or explicitly unavailable.Find a current source; do not infer from cached details.
UNRESOLVEDEvidence is insufficient or conflicting.Pause and record what would resolve the status.

Record the starting and final URL

Note every redirect. A legitimate redirect can occur, but the final page must still match. A 200 response on an unrelated listing is an UNRELATED result, not a valid link.

Compare stable identity clues

Compare product type, category, title, main images, model or item identifier. Do not rely on one translated title. Several agreeing clues reduce the risk of confusing a reused or redirected listing.

Check the exact selectable option

Confirm size, color, model, batch or bundle. The default can differ from the row, and changing it may change images, stock or price.

Check freshness and live terms

Confirm current availability, option price, domestic delivery and return window. Use the payment guide for the total and recipient checks.

Date the result

Record the status, final URL, option and check date. Avoid “verified” unless the exact method and scope are visible. Link status does not rate the seller or authenticate the product.

Does HTTP 200 mean a GTBuy link is valid?

No. A page can return 200 while showing an unrelated, changed or default-option listing.

What if the row and live page disagree?

Use CHANGED or UNRESOLVED, record the mismatch and stop until the current option is understood.

Can a matched link prove the seller is reliable?

No. MATCHED refers only to product-record relevance at the check time.
