Photos can show drape, surface and visible construction but not composition, weight, shrinkage, comfort or durability. Check the written page and care label without treating either as independent verification.

Inspect placement and construction

Look at seams, hems, print or embroidery placement, closures and visible marks. Note lighting and folds before judging alignment or color.
